This fiercely independent brick and mortar shop has been a downtown fixture for over 70 years.

The Vermont Book Shop’s highly personalized service, local author visits, and cool kids’ stuff feed a growing community of readers. Our work with VBS started with a rebranding that struck a balance of new energy and well-respected tradition. We’ve been creating designs for the book shop ever since—including collateral, outreach, signs, swag, and a store loyalty campaign. A landmark setting in downtown Middlebury, eclectic content, and book-making traditions influence our brand strategy and design approach.
