Women Infants Children helps moms be the mom they want to be. WIC builds healthy lifestyles and strong families by providing food, education, and personalized support from birth until age five.

The Image Farm has implemented several successful public health actions for WIC. Together we empowered moms to reach breastfeeding goals through a multi-platform campaign reaching a diverse population of women and families, including teens and immigrants. These groups held very different attitudes toward breastfeeding.

The Mother-Baby campaign was developed for WIC visits, doctor’s offices, and hospital stays. The 10 Steps campaign was directed toward health care providers to increase understanding, dispel myths, and improve quality of care.

Several of our strategies and designs, from our comic to standees to checklists and videos, have been adapted by other WIC programs across the country and have been translated into several languages. Evaluation revealed an exceptionally positive response and VT Department of Health received a USDA Performance Bonus for maintaining one of the highest WIC breastfeeding rates—well above the national average.

Since selecting The Image Farm we’ve never looked back… They have taken the time to understand our projects and have enhanced our efforts – offering energy, experience and enthusiasm to improve the final products and reach our objectives.
